The Day Of

If you plan to take an Uber or Lyft to the venue, be aware that you may have difficulties finding a return ride. Cell service is spotty and there are very few, if any ubers normally in the area. If you do take a ride share, please ask your driver to come back to the area around the time you want to leave, and see if you can get their phone number so you can call. The reception is schedule to conclude around 10:30 PM.

Parking will be available at the wedding venue. You will park in the parking lot and be shuttled up the hill to the tasting room. Phone service can be tricky depending on your carrier so prepare for that.

With poor phone service, keep in mind that your maps may not work. So, just in case we’ve provided some directions from I-26. Make note of these directions.

Directions to the venue:

From I-26 near Hendersonville, take Exit 49A for US-64E / Chimney Rock Rd
Continue on US-64E for 6.7 miles
Turn Right onto Gilliam Mountain Rd
Continue on Gilliam Mountain Rd for 2.3 miles
Turn left onto Appleola Rd
Point Lookout Vineyards will be about 1/2 mile down Appleola Rd. The parking lot will be on the right side of the road before you get to the Tasting Room.


